These workouts will include everything from intervals for race preparation to light touring and games. Suggested ages for these young athletes are from 12 to 15 years old. Because of the different levels of commitment at this age group, we will separate the group into two loosely connected programs. The two-day a week program is for those who wish to get better at the sport of cross-country and develop a better winter fitness program. The three-day a week program will be geared more to racing and training for competitions. A $75 work deposit is required for this program. A USSA membership is required for this program. If the athlete is planning on competing than a competitor’s license is required instead of a Nordic youth membership.
