Learn to... Jump

Catch some big air this winter or next summer at Utah Olympic Park. Axis Freeride will teach you freeride basics in a Freeride Intro ½ day session. Advanced reservation is required. For more information please call 801-550-1309.

Come FLY at Utah Olympic Park with FLY Freestyle. Kids can try a free introduction to Freestyle Aerials with elite level coaches. Participants must be 6 years old and will be participating in a trampoline clinic. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited in one of the following free Saturday clinics: Sept. 27, October 4, May 30, and June 6. All clinics run from 2-5 pm . Call 435-658-4208for more information.

Learn to Nordic Jump with the Park City Nordic Ski Club at Utah Olympic Park. Kids ages 8 and above can participate in a FREE jump session! Sessions are offered Thursday, January 15 or January 22, from 4:30-6:30 pm. For more information, please call Nancy at 435-645-7660, ext. 104. (Participants must bring their own alpine skis, boots and helmet and must be able to ski independently and ride the rope tow)

Learn to... Skate

Come skate at the Park City Ice Arena. Kids can enjoy one free Learn to Skate lesson, one free skate rental and one free public skate admission. Valid on Tuesdays, October 2008 – March 2009, 6pm. Registration is required, black out dates may apply--see registration site for available dates and check-in times. For more information, please call 435-615-5700 or the Sport Services Desk at the Utah Olympic Park (435-658-4208). Offer expires April 28, 2009.

Learn to Skate Ski. The Park City Nordic Ski Club invites kids to try a free cross country skate ski lesson at White Pine Touring Center. Sessions are offered Monday January 12 or January 26, from 4-5:30 pm. Open to ages 8 and up. Skate ski equipment will be provided. Learn to... Slide

United States Luge & the Wasatch Luge Club invite kids to try a beginner luge session. Open to kids ages 9-13. Sessions are offered Thursday and Saturday evenings, November-January. Pre-registration is required, space is limited. Please call 435-647-3800 for more information or to register. Offer valid for the 2008-2009 season (November-January) only.

The Utah Athletic Foundation Bobsled & Skeleton Development Program invites kids and their families to watch the world’s best bobsled and skeleton athletes compete in the FIBT World Cup at Utah Olympic Park, Feb. 9-14, 2009. U.S. National Team members, which include many Utah locals, will face off against the world’s best as they compete in preparation for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada.
