Ice

The Utah Olympic Oval is comprised of two international size hockey rinks (30 x 60m) surrounded by a 12m x 400m Olympic oval. All told the Oval houses 90,000 square feet of ice. Each ice sheet is a separate monolithic (no joints) concrete pad. All three are individually controlled to provide optimum ice conditions based on use. The arena space is controlled by a network of 16 sensors constantly measuring air temperature, humidity, carbon monoxide and more all to maintain "The Fastest Ice on Earth". The arena is a comfortable 63 - 65 degrees again providing the ultimate training environment for our high performance athletes and recreational athletes alike.
