Lacy Schnoor
Home: Draper, UT Height: 5' 3"
Birthday: June 12, 1985 Weight: 113 lbs.

Hoping to place at the 2010 Olympic trials, Lacy Schnoor ended up winning first place becoming the first woman selected for the 2010 Olympic Aerials ski team.

The twenty-four year old Draper, Utah native was a gymnast with Olympic dreams and a recreational skier until the Salt Lake City Olympic outreach program came to her middle school and showed her the opportunity to be an Olympic aerialist. She went to an aerials camp and found she liked the rush going off the jumps.

Lacy placed 10th at her first World Cup on January 9, 2005 in Mont Tremblant, Quebec and was 2005 US aerials gold medalist. She has overcome multiple injuries and she says training and competitions have been rocky at times.

2009 was one of Lacy's best season's on the World Cup tour adding two more top-10 results, as well as a career best seventh place at the World Championships in Japan. She placed third at the 2009 U.S. Championships.

With two twisting doubles planned for the Games in Vancouver, Lacy is concentrating on her training with the hopes of doing well and making it to the podium. GO LACY!
